Double Bachelor Golf Trip 2027

Six US destinations researched against what the grooms gave us. Every number is a 2026 published rate unless noted, so re-price for the exact dates once they lock. Scroll the tabs for the full breakdown.

15 to 20 guys 3 to 4 nights May to July 2027 $1,000 to $1,500 per person all-in Golf under $200 a round Flying from DTW, DFW, ATL Resort first, big house backup Hot to mild weather

The verdict

Only three plans survive 20 guys, three airports and a $1,500 ceiling: Las Vegas midweek on the Strip, Orlando in a ChampionsGate pool home, and Myrtle Beach on a condo golf package. Scottsdale works only on a 3 night Talking Stick plan in June heat. San Diego and Lake Tahoe break $1,700 for the Detroit guys and should be dropped.

1ST PICK
Las Vegas
$1,350 to $1,600 for 3 nights (midweek)

Nonstops from all three cities, summer golf at $69 to $130, casino, pool and sportsbook under every hotel so nobody needs a car. Fails the budget only if you stay Thursday to Sunday ($1,850 to $2,000).

Best overall fit Midweek only June/July heat
2ND
Orlando
$1,150 to $1,450 for 3 nights (pool home)

Cheapest flights of the six, 10 bedroom pool homes at $74 to $93 per guy per night, golf from $50 to $136. Downsides: afternoon lightning most summer days and bars 35 to 45 minutes away.

Cheapest Easiest flights Weak nightlife
3RD
Myrtle Beach
$1,125 to $1,550 for 3 nights (by airport)

Golf packages do the logistics for you: 3 nights plus 3 rounds in condos for about $300 per golfer. One daily nonstop from Detroit and $600 plus summer fares from Dallas hold it back.

Best golf value Thin flights Dated bar scene

What decides it more than the city

The calendar. A Tuesday or Wednesday arrival in mid May or the second to fourth week of June, avoiding Memorial Day (May 31), Father's Day (June 20) and July 1 to 6, cuts Vegas lodging nearly in half ($102 vs $185 per guy per night) and saves $90 or more on airfare everywhere. That gap is bigger than the gap between any two destinations.

Honest budget note: $1,500 is doable with a midweek block and one prepaid club night. $1,000 is not doable anywhere on this list except a stripped down Orlando house or an Atlanta guy driving to Myrtle Beach. Food and drinks are modeled at $140 a day; a bachelor group usually spends $200, which alone adds $180 to a 3 night trip.

Why Hawaii is out

Honolulu round trips run about $1,100 to $1,300 from Detroit and $830 to $1,200 from Atlanta and Dallas in June and July, plus 9 to 12 hours each way. That is 70 to 100 percent of a $1,500 budget before a single hotel night, round of golf or meal.

Also dropped

San Diego: perfect weather and cheap golf but California lodging ($312 to $493 a night at Mission Bay resorts plus $46 to $56 fees and $38 to $79 parking) lands at $1,775 to $2,180 for 3 nights. Lake Tahoe: no Detroit nonstop ($629 in June, 6.5 hours each way), rentals capped at 10 people, Edgewood is $325 to $450. About $2,040 for 3 nights.

Orlando edges Scottsdale on the tiebreak because it is cheaper and easier to fly. Scottsdale is the right alternative to Vegas if the group prefers Old Town over the Strip and can handle 104 to 106 degree highs.
