Where to stay

Only a May, lean lodging, Dallas and Atlanta heavy plan reaches $1,500. A Detroit heavy group at a bayfront resort in July will not get under $2,000.

Getting around

UberXL from the airport is $40 to $55. Two or three large SUVs for North County golf days, rideshare for the Gaslamp.
